Learners Take Part in OK sa DepEd Oplan Kalusugan

                     Caluluan High School (CHS) students took part in the school based event, “OK sa DepEd Oplan Kalusugan” poster, slogan and infomercial making contest on May 17-28, 2021.

              “OK sa DepEd” campaign focuses on five major school health programs— School-Based Feeding Program (SBFP), National Drug Education Program (NDEP), Adolescent Reproductive Health Education (ARH), Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) in schools (WINS), and medical, nursing and dental services.

NDEP provides holistic approach to the problem of drug abuse. In line with this, CHS conducted a school–based slogan and poster making contest for Grade 7-9, and informercial making contest for Grade 10-12.

For poster making contest, the winners are Krizzie Agustin of Grade 7-A, Roanne Ellaine Felicia of Grade 8-STE, and Jethro Valencia of Grade 9-F. Alexa Reinne Dancalan of Grade 7-A, Rean Joyce Pangan of Grade 8-A, and Angelica Louise Elequin of Grade 9-STE won the first place for slogan making contest.

The first place winners for infomercial making contest are Francine Aine Santiano of Grade 10-A, class of 11-STEM and class of 12-STEM.

This aimed to develop knowledge, skills, and attitude of children, youth, and adults to appreciate the benefit of healthy living. Winners were announced on June 8, 2021 via Facebook post.

The output of the winners are posted on the Facebook account of Mrs. Elaine Dancalan, Health and Nutrition Coordinator.
